Kyra Minturn

 Kyraminturn Sedgwick was born August 19, 1965. She is an American actress and producer. She is most famous for her starring role as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson on the TNT crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick was awarded two Emmy Awards in the years 2010 and 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson. The seventh season of the series was concluded on August 13, 2012. Sedgwick's performance as Madeline Wuntch in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine is also noteworthy. Sedgwick received nominations for a Golden Globe award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's other film roles include Oliver Stone's Born of the Fourth of July (1989) and Cameron Crowe's Ones (1992) as well as Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996), What's cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2013). Sedgwick is the daughter Patricia Rosenwald who is an educator therapy for families, a venture capitalist, and Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII Speech Therapist. Her mother was Jewish. Her dad was Episcopalian of English descent. Sedgwick has stated that she's Jewish and is a part of Passover meals.
