Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki was an American political advisor who served as the 34th White House press Secretary between 2021 until 2022. She is a part of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009), the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011) and the spokesperson for US Department of State (2013-15) and the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was a CNN political contributor from 2017 through 2020. Psaki began her career in 2001, as a political contributor for CNN. She worked on the campaign for re-election of Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack (Iowa Governor). Psaki was later appointed deputy press secretary for John Kerry's presidential campaign. Psaki also served as communications director for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) and was the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was the press secretary to President Obama's 2012 reelection campaigns. 20 years ago, Psaki was named spokesperson for United States Department of State in February 2013. There was speculation that she would be replacing Jay Carney White House Press secretary when he left White House in the year 21 were fueled by her hiring at the Department of State. However, Josh Earnest was announced as the replacement for Carney on May 30th in 2014. She was appointed Communications Director in the White House and continued to perform this role until the end of 2015.
